We wanted to share some important updates regarding the recent announcement from Bittrex Global.

Last week, the crypto exchange announced its decision to cease operations on Monday, December 4, 2023. After trading on the platform stops, only withdrawals will be available.

Our Recommendation

To ensure you retain access to your historical Bittrex transaction data and balance information in Bitwave, we recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Connect Bitwave to Your Bittrex Account: You can sync your Bittrex transactions into Bitwave by connecting your Bittrex API keys. (Just follow this guide.) Once the data is stored in Bitwave, you can rest assured that the data will remain in our platform – even if the Bittrex API becomes unavailable in the future.
  2. Download Your Transaction and Balance Information: It's important to download and store your activity for safekeeping after Bittrex operations cease. This step will ensure you have a secure backup of your historical data.

Our Commitment

We understand that changes within the crypto landscape can present uncertainties. At Bitwave, we’re committed to supporting our customers through such transitions. If you have any questions or need assistance navigating this process, our team is here to help.

We encourage you to stay informed about further updates from Bittrex Global and to take proactive measures to secure your historical data.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership with Bitwave.
