Streamlined Binance accounting with Bitwave

World’s largest crypto exchange with extensive trading pairs.

Why connect Binance to Bitwave ?

Trade history with fees imported

Bitwave imports spot trades, OTC and convert activity from your Binance account by trading pair, recording each fill with its fee so cost basis and gains can be computed per asset.

Deposits, withdrawals, and earn activity

Crypto and fiat deposits and withdrawals, Simple Earn subscriptions, redemptions and rewards, and asset dividends are imported, so yield and funding movements are categorized rather than left as unexplained balance changes.

Sub-accounts covered in one connection

Bitwave reads Binance sub-accounts and the transfers between them and the main account, so internal movements across a corporate Binance structure can be identified and treated as transfers.

How it works

Bitwave connects to Binance with a read-only access credential you create in your Binance account, and supports both Binance.com and Binance.US. Bitwave does not need trading or withdrawal rights and cannot access your funds.

After the credential is added, Bitwave brings the account history into the subledger. Bitwave also uses Binance market data as a pricing source.

The workflow:

  1. Create a read-only access credential in Binance and add it in Bitwave.
  2. Bitwave brings in trades, deposits, withdrawals, earn activity, and sub-account transfers.
  3. Categorize trades, transfers, and fees in Bitwave, one by one or with rules.
  4. Reconcile and carry results into gain and loss reporting and your general ledger.

Key Benefits

What makes the Bitwave integration with Binance special ?

An active Binance account generates trades across many pairs, funding movements, earn rewards, and, for corporate users, transfers between sub-accounts. Reconstructing that from exports is slow and error-prone. Bitwave reads it from Binance and lands it in the subledger organized for accounting.

The finance team gets trades with fees ready for cost basis and gain and loss, earn rewards categorized as income, and internal transfers between sub-accounts recognized as transfers rather than disposals, so Binance activity closes with the same rigor as the rest of the digital asset portfolio.
