Wallets and enterprises from one connection
With a view-only BitGo access token, Bitwave reads the wallets under your BitGo account and enterprises and brings in their transfers, so multi-wallet custody structures are represented in Bitwave without adding each wallet by hand.
Transfers with counterparties, including Bitcoin
BitGo transfers arrive with sender and receiver addresses, including on Bitcoin-style networks, so your team can identify counterparties and internal movements when categorizing custody activity.
Staking requests and balances tracked
Bitwave reads BitGo staking requests and pulls wallet balances before and after each update, supporting categorization of staking activity and balance validation at period end.
How it works
Bitwave connects to BitGo with a long-lived, view-only access token created in BitGo account settings, with Bitwave's addresses allowed on the token. Bitwave cannot initiate transfers and does not hold your BitGo login.
After the token is added, Bitwave validates it and brings the wallets, transfers, staking requests, and balances under it into the subledger.
The workflow:
- Create a view-only access token in BitGo, allow Bitwave's addresses, and add it in Bitwave.
- Bitwave validates the token and brings in wallets, transfers, staking requests, and balances.
- Categorize custody transfers and staking activity in Bitwave, one by one or with rules.
- Validate balances, reconcile, and carry gains, losses, and fees into your general ledger.

Custody at BitGo often spans many wallets and, for larger organizations, several enterprises. Bitwave reads that structure from one token and keeps each wallet's transfers, staking requests, and balances in the subledger, so the custody footprint is visible without duplicated setup.
