Streamlined Celo accounting with Bitwave

Mobile-first blockchain focused on financial inclusion and stablecoins.

Why connect Celo to Bitwave ?

Stablecoins and tokens identified

Celo addresses come in with their token transfers, contract interactions, and fees, and Bitwave identifies each token and filters spam, so stablecoin and token activity arrives named and ready to categorize.

Validator rewards recorded

Bitwave brings in Celo validator rewards as summarized entries by type, so staking income is captured and can be categorized to revenue.

One process across your chains

Celo activity appears in the same transactions view, rules, and reports as your other networks, so categorization and period-end work for Celo reuses what your team already does elsewhere.

How it works

Bitwave tracks Celo addresses you import. Once you import your Celo wallet address, Bitwave brings in the address's transfers, token movements, contract interactions, and fees, along with validator rewards where the address earns them.

Tokens and NFTs are identified and spam is filtered, and the activity is categorized and carried into balance, gain and loss, and journal entry reporting.

The workflow:

  1. Import your Celo wallet address into Bitwave.
  2. Bitwave brings in CELO and token transfers, contract activity, fees, and summarized validator rewards.
  3. Categorize the activity, one by one or with rules based on counterparties or reward type.
  4. Run the balance report, reconcile, and record the results through your general ledger connection or journal entry reports.

Key Benefits

What makes the Bitwave integration with Celo special ?

Celo is used heavily for stablecoin transfers and, for validators, produces a steady stream of rewards. Both need to reach the books with the right treatment. Bitwave brings Celo addresses in with tokens identified and spam filtered, and brings validator rewards in as reviewable summaries.

For the finance team, stablecoin and token movements on Celo are categorized like other network activity, validator income is booked to revenue with the reward type as support, and balances reconcile to the chain, so Celo holdings and operations close within the standard workflow.
