Proactive market maker optimizing liquidity for digital assets.

Pool tokens split into base and quote
Bitwave recognizes Dodo liquidity pool tokens in a synced Ethereum wallet and resolves the wallet's share of the pool into its base asset and quote asset balances.

Providing liquidity as a position change
Deposits into and withdrawals from Dodo pools can be categorized in Bitwave as liquidity position changes rather than disposals, so cost basis carries until the position is exited.

Pool positions in period-end balances
Dodo positions appear in the Bitwave balance report as DeFi positions, so assets committed to Dodo pools are included when your team reviews balances at the close of a period.
How it works
Bitwave connects to the Ethereum wallets that provide liquidity on Dodo. After a wallet is added, Bitwave syncs its transactions and recognizes Dodo pool tokens, resolving each into the base and quote assets that make up the position.
Your team categorizes pool deposits and withdrawals as liquidity positions and reviews the positions in reporting.
The workflow:
- Add the Ethereum wallet that holds Dodo pool tokens.
- Bitwave syncs the wallet's history and identifies Dodo liquidity positions.
- Categorize deposits and withdrawals as liquidity positions, individually or through rules.
- Review Dodo positions in the balance report and carry results into gain/loss and journal entries.

Dodo pools split a position into a base asset side and a quote asset side, which makes a raw pool token balance uninformative for accounting. Bitwave resolves each Dodo pool token into those two components so the position can be carried and reviewed in terms of the assets it represents.
For the finance team, liquidity deposits and withdrawals are handled as changes in the form of a holding, period-end balances include the assets held through Dodo, and the treatment can be captured in rules so recurring pool activity is reviewed consistently.
Complete. Transparent. Secure.
