Intacct dimensions available in categorization
Bitwave reads your Sage Intacct general ledger accounts, customers, and vendors, along with classes, departments, locations, entities, and projects, so categorized digital asset activity carries the dimensions your Intacct reporting depends on.

Reconciled activity posted into Intacct
When you reconcile in Bitwave, receipts, payments, transfers, and journal entries are recorded in Sage Intacct against the digital asset checking account and fee account created during setup.

Post to multiple entities from one connection
A top-level Intacct connection can post individual lines to different entities, and AR invoices and AP bills sync into Bitwave so digital asset receipts and payments can be applied against them.
How it works
Bitwave connects to Sage Intacct through Intacct's web service access, using a dedicated integration user and role that your administrator creates and with Bitwave added to your Intacct allowed senders and addresses. Bitwave does not hold your personal Intacct login.
Setup also creates two accounts in Intacct: a checking account under Cash Management for digital assets and a general ledger account for fees. Bitwave posts to these when transactions are reconciled.
The workflow:
- Enable web service access in Intacct and create the Bitwave integration user and role.
- Create the digital asset checking account and fee account, then connect Intacct in Bitwave with the entity ID and account codes.
- Categorize digital asset transactions in Bitwave using synced Intacct accounts, contacts, and dimensions.
- Reconcile categorized transactions to record them in Intacct.
.avif)
Sage Intacct ledgers are organized around entities and dimensions, and digital asset activity needs to arrive already tagged in that structure. Bitwave prepares that detail as a subledger, computing cost basis and gains and losses per wallet and asset, then posts entries that carry Intacct classes, departments, locations, and entities.
For your finance team, the outcome is that digital asset receipts, payments, fees, and transfers appear in Intacct as cash management and general ledger entries that reconcile to the Bitwave subledger, with lines routed to the correct entity when you post from a top-level connection. Receivables and payables settled in digital assets can be applied to the corresponding Intacct invoices and bills as part of the same reconciliation step.
Complete. Transparent. Secure.
