Avalanche-based borrowing protocol using overcollateralized loans.

Coming soon to Bitwave
Bitwave is adding Teddy Cash to the DeFi protocols it recognizes, so collateral deposits and borrowings on Teddy Cash can be tracked from your Avalanche wallet when support goes live.

Collateral and debt as positions
Bitwave's DeFi accounting treats deposits into a protocol as position changes rather than sales, and borrowings as debt, so a Teddy Cash loan will not trigger a gain or loss on the collateral behind it.

Positions in the balance report
Once supported, Teddy Cash collateral and debt will appear in the Bitwave balance report alongside your other Avalanche holdings, so period-end review includes assets committed to the protocol.
How it works
Teddy Cash is an Avalanche borrowing protocol that issues loans against overcollateralized deposits. Bitwave is adding it to the DeFi protocols recognized from a synced wallet.
Bitwave's DeFi workflow is the same across protocols: a DeFi position record stands in for the position, deposits and withdrawals are categorized as position changes rather than disposals, debt is tracked separately from collateral, and the net result is identified when the position closes. Contact your Bitwave representative to be notified when Teddy Cash support is available.
The workflow, once available:
- Add the Avalanche wallet that uses Teddy Cash to Bitwave.
- Set up a DeFi position record in Bitwave for Teddy Cash.
- Categorize collateral deposits, borrowings, and repayments as positions.
- Review collateral and debt in the balance report and carry results into gain and loss and journal entries.
.avif)
Borrowing against digital assets should not be booked as selling them, but without protocol-aware handling that is how raw transaction history reads. Bitwave's DeFi accounting keeps collateral in the portfolio balance, tracks the loan as debt, and identifies the net result when the position is closed.
For finance teams using Teddy Cash on Avalanche, the intended outcome is collateral and debt visible at period end, cost basis preserved through the life of the loan, and a consistent treatment that matches how Bitwave already handles lending protocols such as Aave and Compound. Ask your Bitwave representative about timing.
Complete. Transparent. Secure.
ERPs
Sync data in real-time and eliminate manual errors. Bitwave seamlessly integrates with your existing back-office software for easier reporting.
